Review of Shakespeare in Love (1998) by Nick G — 24 Nov 2009
A film about Shakespeare has so much potential to become a total cliche, but this film was actually very refreshing and clever. I don't think it deserved Best Picture; there were at least two far better films that year.
Though I will say that Gwyneth Paltrow was really good, and deserved the Oscar.
