Review of Shakespeare in Love (1998) by Adesh P — 13 Aug 2010

Its not as funny or clever as claimed by many. And strangely it never takes enough advantage of it's general frivolousness. But I loved Imelda Staunton and Judi Dench. And I love its last act, the way it ends.

I was moved. And despite being set in whatever century, its looked a very 1998 film and hence worked for me as a piece of nostalgia too.
