Oscar's Best Picture winner of 1998 unfolds from a comedy into a romantic drama in all the right ways while still being funny. Charming in every sense of the word. Gwyneth Paltrow gives her finest performance ever, along with a quirky Geoffrey Rush, and a posh and proper Judi Dench as Queen Elizabeth I.
Not to be missed by those who admire the theatre.
