This film captures the coarseness and bawdiness of the period as well as its soaring poetry. It places Shakespeareâ(TM)s world in a modern context and makes it accessible, without diminishing the impact of his words. This is on my list of all time favorites.

Iabsolutely love this movie! The acting is fabulous, the cinematography was beautiful, and the screenplay was a work of art. Any fan of Shakespeare, especially if you actually understand it, should appreciate this movie for the masterpiece that it is.
