Shaft is utterly badass. Richard Roundtree is badass. Probably the best blaxploitation film of the 70's, thoguh I do love "Cotton Comes to Harlem" and "Superfly." There nothing that can be said that hasnt been said about the music, its probably the best movie theme outside of a James Bond picture.
