Review of Shadowplay (2007) by Sophie P — 29 Sep 2009

A genuinely intriguing plot. Reminded me slightly of Cube, though nowhere near the quality. The low budget is a bit glaringly obvious. Low budget movies can still be of a decent quality if the budget is used effectively, but I don't think it was in this one.

It had some very average acting, sometimes they hit their mark, at others it didn't seem they were quite certain what they were supposed to be doing or responding to.

Overall, not too bad a way to spend 90 minutes, but it just felt like there was so much unused potential.
