Review of Shadowboxer (2005) by Jay M — 27 Aug 2007

Overall: piss poor.

It showed a lot of promise, but it just didn't deliver. It struck me that it had either been edited by an idiot or studio had insisted on cutting it down as the storyline seemed all over the place, exposition that went nowhere and Helen Mirren's role didn't really do anything other than look wistful and upset at that was the weird thing most of the performances were good, it's just the overall film that doesn't work.
