Review of Shadow of the Vampire (2000) by Joe K — 25 Feb 2009
I love the idea of the actor who played Nosferatu really believing he was a vampire (Or WAS he really a vampire?)..which is what the movie is about. It follows the filming of classic vampire movie Nosferatu and questions the humanitiy of the man playing the Count.
John Malkovich always does a great job, and Willem Dafoe is almost unrecognizble as Nosferatu.
