Review of Shadow of the Vampire (2000) by Ifiok O — 18 May 2010
It's an interesting deconstruction of the original, and arguably the greatest, vampire movie, using some interesting filming techniques to capture the original film's feel; the make up effects for Dafoe make him just as creepy and intimidating as the man who played Count Orlok, Max Schreck.
The film does run too short, but it still has some great moments of dialogue and chemistry between Dafoe and Malkovich.
