Review of Shadow of the Vampire (2000) by Eric T — 07 Dec 2009
One of the most over-looked movies ever created: Shadow of the Vampire is short, sweet, and right to the point. It's a brilliant mixture of historical fact, historical fiction, dark comedy, spooky horror, and insight into 1920's era silent-film making.
Malkovich is very good as real life Nosferatu director F.W. Murnau.
However, it is Willem Dafoe who steals the movie with the best performance of his career.
