Review of Shadow of the Thin Man (1941) by John A — 14 Oct 2011
The series is showing its age, but it remains a fun time overall. The action and dialogue limp along here in comparison to the first two films, which means that even at 96 minutes, the time seems to pass slowly.
Loy and Powell still manage to squeeze some nice moments out, and van Dyke has an excellent edit from the park bench to the martini shaker early in the film.
