Review of Shadow of a Doubt (1943) by Adrian S — 17 Aug 2008
I have had The Merry Widow Waltz in my head for almost a day now.
It was good, and it was extra-creepy when you considered all the dialogue that made it sound like there was some kind of incestuous relationship between Charlie and Uncle Charles (and when you were convinced that Hume Cronyn was playing Norman Bates In The Wrong Movie and he was going to drag out his mom's mummified remains at any moment).
My favorite character was Roger, the little brother. Roger needed more screen time.
