Review of Shadow of a Doubt (1943) by R.p. Philip-Michael T — 11 Apr 2012
This is a great Hitchcock film. It is suspenseful but in a way that you may not necessarily expect. You can definitely see how Hitchcock is testing the waters of just how he can raise tension. Although he hadn't mastered it at this point this is no shab.
One heck of a great film alright! If you haven't seen it you ought!
