Review of Sexy Beast (2001) by Edward B — 11 Jan 2009
I lke the story of this, essentially a tale of love and contentment of an ex gangster and an ex porn star. The cast is solid, but Kingsley is head and shoulders above the rest. His portrayal of Don is stunning, he pulls of the mad man so effortlessly it makes me wonder how he managed Gandhi.
Worth owning for Kingsley alone, the smart direction is an extra bonus.
