Review of Sex Tape (2014) by Kanji — 13 Dec 2017

Quite disappointing. There isn't as much copulation as the title suggests. Can't be that bad if everything else makes up for it, right? Nope. Jason Segel is a rubbish cast, he delivers some truly cringe-inducing dialogue which make me squirm in embarrassment.

Cameron Diaz, on the other hand, is much more natural at her role; she is a vastly superior cast. I can't help but feel that if Diaz was paired with a better counterpart, the film would be much better.

The plot is utterly bonkers, but it occasionally brings out good humour that seems to be missing every other time. Sex Tape is a dull, below average film with promising moments that are too few and far between.
