Review of sex, lies, and videotape (1989) by Samantha S — 08 Jun 2009
Apparently, this movie was a mile-stone in the film industry. When I sat down and watched it, I had no idea. I never knew what I was getting myself into, even after the movie had started. It seemed ordinary enough: the typical story about the housewife whose husband is secretly being unfaithfull.
For any other story, this would be enough, but the real catalyst of this film comes with the appearance of Graham, a charming yet strangely good-natured drifter. And again, it would SEEM that everything is falling apart, when in reallity everything is actually coming together.
