Why does it have such high rating I'll never understand. I didn't care for the characters (and it seems like this movie was a character study movie) and I didn't even care for the story. It was pretty boring and too long.
I did however like the last scene with Andie and James Spader (the tape recording) - there was something special about it, I can't figure out what yet, but it made me think... so I guess it's a good thing.
The movie is not bad, but I could've lived without it.
