Andie MacDowell's horrible acting would've ruined this movie if James Spader and Peter Gallagher weren't so amazing. The plot is really interesting itself, don't get me wrong, but sometimes you just can't help but want MacDowell to get thrown down a well in any given scene.
She laughs all the time!!Ugh...Oh well. James Spader was so good as the drifting loner, you couldn't tell in some scenes whether he wanted to kiss or kill. It was great. Peter Gallagher, I never pictured Sandy Cohen as such a sleazebag, but he pulls it off very nicely.
Overall, a really good movie with just one problem, a shitty actress who laughs at everything and does a horrible southern accent.
