Review of Sex Drive (2008) by Giugi — 13 May 2023
This film is a terrible nonsense full of double meanings and full of completely ridiculous scenes and it is precisely this that makes it in some sense a small masterpiece of the horrid. This film besides being funny for the immense stupidity of the whole manages to be also partly deep in many scenes that even manage to amaze and make you think, and these things are ridiculous for such a stupid film like this.
The film can only be appreciated if you look at it with the right lightness and the right spirit of little criticism and a lot of acceptance of the low-grade comedy that this film is imbued with.
