What an absolutely awful movie. Wood can't act her way out of a paper bag, and is a terrible foil for Curtis. The whole thing was too contrived and over-populated with characters. Bacall and Fonda do themselves no credit in this film, and the stupid policeman at the end was so ridiculous, I felt I'd wasted my life watching this movie.
