Review of Sex and the City (2008) by Sterling R — 26 Feb 2011
The story was so cliche it boggled my mind. The more I think about it the more I feel like face-palming. I mean, I liked the series okay. It had some well written characters who developed and changed over time. But this movie managed to iron a lot of that good stuff away. There is some of it left but the main plot kind of crushes it.
If you want an extremely syrupy romance movie with some cliche wedding conflicts, I can recommend this. No wait, I can't. Just watch Runaway Bride or Notting Hill or some other Julia Roberts movie instead.
This movie is okay to watch if you are doing it with friends and mock it or just shut down your brain.
