Review of Sex and the City (2008) by Eunjun C — 27 Mar 2011
There is something about this movie that is instantly addictive. Even though I enjoyed the show, I would not call my self an ardent fan. However this movie softened my view towards what I had previously considered, dull and materialistic characters.
There are parts of the movie which border on the poignant. Like the first new years eve that Miranda spends alone, and Carrie journeys though the city to see her.
And another scene where Carrie sitting silently at her desk, looking out of the window, idly playing with her necklace as the snow gently falls outside.
The main cavat of the story ofcourse relies on Carrie finding true love and whether Big is that man or has she backed the wrong horse?
