Review of Sex and Lucía (2001) by Alex D — 06 Jul 2007
Love stories aren't something I typically dig, but Sex and Lucia turned out to be something a lot more special that your average chick flick. Stunningly directed by Julio Medem, with a gripping and emotional story, as well as awesome performances from Paz Vega and Tristan Ulloa, Sex and Lucia is a complex but ultimately wonderful film.
A fine foreign film on all levels.
