Review of Sex and Lucía (2001) by Lando Q — 02 Jun 2011
A surrealistic, philosophical take on love, life, and sex.
Beautiful visuals, performances and background score. It is also about various lives, connected by an author whose novel has become inextricably entwined with his own life. The film is very Lynchian in its lack of structure and non adherence to any linear time-line and as a result is open to various interpretations. A triumph in European cinema.
