Review of Sex and Death 101 (2007) by Kiara N — 26 Dec 2008

I liked the concept (the lead has his future path laid out, but only finds peace when he ignores it) and thought they could have done a lot with it, but ultimately it was an average effort. None of the characters were especially sympathetic (yeah, even Winona's - though she looked good), and the mood was all over the place - over-the-top, dramatic, black comedy.

.. which led to a disjointed feeling. All-in-all, I think I probably would have liked it better had they tightened it up (chopping out 30 minutes or so) and toned it down a bit.
