Review of Severance (2006) by James L — 13 Sep 2009
On the same vein of films as Shaun of the Dead and Evil Dead 2, apart from Shaun of the Dead is actually funny and Evil Dead 2 is nice and gory. Severance misses out on both these things. So all in all it has no real plot, isn't funny, is not gory enough and has no imagination.
I do however like the opening scene and I thought this was a very good introduction to the film. Best performance would have to be Danny Dyer, because the few lines he had were the best lines and he plays getting high remarkably well.
