Seventh Son has great action scenes and A list acting. But this boring, rushed book adaptation, cannot be saved, even by Jeff Bridges at his best. Seventh Son plays out like Lord Of a The Rings meets Gladiator.

Director Sergei Bodrov, mixes with his elements, for a movie, not worth watching. I thought this movie would be different, but how much can you expect from book adaptations. SS is a wasted opportunity, Bodrov's vision of the book is clunky and flawed.
