Review of Seven Years in Tibet (1997) by Zendee L — 19 Nov 2009
I know it's cliché, but this was nowhere near as good as the book. What makes it weird thought is how the differences are not just factual happenstance, but character differences that make Heinrich Harrer appear to be a serious douche.
Why that would be a desired adaptation of the book, I do not know. The story is still a good one, but it was not executed in the best manner.
