Brilliant. Epic. Masterful. Listing the adjectives to describe this film can go on longer than this film's runtime of three and a half hours, which surprisingly, didn't affect the experience at all.
I was actually thankful there was so much of it, for this was truly an awesome film. The story, characters, writing, acting, scenery, cinematography, directing, and essentially everything was just spectacular.
I don't know if this is really the best film of all time, but the case could soundly be argued, and fairly easily won.
