Review of Seven Samurai (1954) by Kim B — 13 Dec 2014
A very long film over 3 hours but because it an epic it pulls it off well. Some of the action scenes are dated n hard to see but it was 1954. The characters were great and I loved learning about Samaria as the story was told.
There is a lot of stories going on (love story, war story, cultural story) and it comes together at end. The music was amazing and I can't get it out of my head. The acting was well done and I was charmed by the town and it felt very realistic, as though u could imagine urself in this cute town.
