Review of Seven Psychopaths (2012) by Monique Y — 01 Feb 2014

I don't quite know what to think of this movie. To say "I didn't like it" is not a correct statement. To say "I liked it", isn't either. Just because, when in doubt, you must give the benefit of doubt, I'm giving three stars to this bizarre movie.

I laughed, despised the psychos, took their side, approved some of the casualties while felt sad about others. It never bored me; on the contrary: it had me seriously struggling to reconcile the fact that normalcy was a true psychos' aspiration, even if disguised in the form of a trophy dog that would refuse to give his paw at command but would do it out of compassionate love!
