Review of Seven Chances (1925) by Kristen S — 26 May 2010
The picture takes a while to get going (the backstory needs a lot of setting up), but once buster starts looking for brides, it really picks up. the final half hour is straight-up comedy nirvana as more and more manic would-be mrs.
keatons hound buster all over creation--in cars, on bicycles, on rollerskates, through streets, across mountains, through train yards, corn fields, bee colonies and marshlands, braving rockslides and sand dunes.
a hell of a chase sequence.
