Blow for blow almost, this movie from the beats, to the lead characters desires, to the dynamiccs of the lead charachters is the same movie as "THE TOWN", which was a great movie, but its funny that with guys and 14 years later its worthy of oscar nominations.
In 1996/7 whenever it came out it wasn't worthy of these same oscar noms...This was by far Queen Latifah's best and most riveting performances.
