A decrepit mental hospital is the perfect setting for this horror / psychological thriller. If I were to sum up Session 9 in one word, it would definitely be "creepy". It subjects the audience into making their own imaginations work against them through a series of scenes with seemingly implied meanings.
The amplified ominous tone carries the viewer through a dark head-trip.
