Review of Serpico (1973) by Kurt K — 04 Aug 2010
Serpico is a great story that includes an incredible acting performance from Pacino. In a police world full of bribery and corruption, we find the character of Frank Serpico. Frank represents admirable qualities of a truly "honest cop", and refuses to fall into the corrupt environment that exists in the workforce.
But can this man be the hero of New York? Can one person really make a difference and undermine these corrupt operations? You'll certainly be hoping that he can as these questions pop up in your head during the movie.
