Review of Serpico (1973) by Bill S — 01 Jan 2015
This is a very good film held on the shoulders of Al Pacino who finds here an incredible material to display his extraordinary capacity to enter the skin of his character and become a complete different person, both physically and mentally.
Shot by master director Sydney Lumet, this film follows the real life story and career of undercover detective Paco Serpico as he investigates in the police department for corruption. Pacino delivers one of his finest portrayal and confirms how talented and driven he is.
Great film. Excellent story and great performances from the cast.
