It probably was edgy back in the day and the fact that is a "true story" makes it more interesting. I got into it and Pacino is very good, you can see his same moves and mannerisms coming through though, which is fun to try and spot when he slips into that cartoon of himself he has become, or always was I think.
Lots of people pop up that are still around today acting, also fun to try and spot. I liked it.
