Review of Serpico (1973) by Harminder S — 28 Feb 2010
I'm a huge Al Pacino fan, and this was another great delight for me. Al Pacino displayed his famed method acting once more as Frank Serpico. Sidney Lumet did a superb job of taking a controversial, real-life cop story and turn it into a film like this.
I wish there was more in the movie about Serpico's early days though, I really enjoyed that rape arc. All of the acting was strong and the script was spectacular. Great film overall.
