Review of Serpico (1973) by Alex K — 09 Apr 2010
It was an interesting look at the world of corrupt cops, which is based more or less on a true story. Al Pacino really gives it most of it's depth. I love how he always purposefully dressed like an undercover hippie/homeless guy and pretty much doesn't take shit from anyone.
His complete dedication to his ideals made him unwilling to submit to all the peer pressure of his fellow dirty cops. It's definitely no Dog Day Afternoon, but it's worth a watch.
