Review of Serpico (1973) by Dan S — 06 Aug 2010
My favourite Pacino movie is still Simone, but this one came close. It's a fascinating story of a man just trying to do the right thing who ends up being villainised for it and nearly loses everything.
The pacing is sharp too - there isn't much of a plot but the character work, and a strong performance by Pacino, keeps the film moving. Definitely one to watch.
