We wash our own laundry around here.

Serpico was a police officer who wanted nothing more than to be an honest detective for the people: unfortunately, every branch on the New York City police department seemed to have corrupt operations from the top down. There didn't seem to be any place in New York for an honest cop. Serpico becomes obsessed with stopping crime...by bring down the police force.

"You look like an asshole with dentures.".

Sidney Lumet, director of 12 Angry Men, The Wiz, Dog Day Afternoon, Before the Devil Knows Your Dead, Network, The Verdict, Power, and All the King's Men, delivers Serpico. The storyline for this film was very well done and a fantastic character piece. The script was so well written and the film contains numerous twists and turns. The acting was also first rate and the cast include Al Pacino, Tony Roberts, John Randle, Allan Rich, and Cornelia Sharpe.

"Do you like cops?".

"You're the first one.".

Serpico was a movie I have wanted to see forever and was excited to find it on Netflix (to be honest, I thought I had already seen it). This quickly jumped up there with Scarface as amongst my favorite Pacino movies (I'm honestly not sure which one I like better). I thought this film was absolutely awesome and perfectly delivered. This movie definitely has some great action but the acting is over-the-top good. I strongly recommend seeing this picture and it is worth adding to your DVD collection.

"Drop your cocks and grab your socks!".

Grade: A+.
