Review of Serpico (1973) by Nick O — 01 Jul 2011
The story of a honest cop who doesn't want to be a hero, just wants to do his job, but the maddening corruption around him won't let him be. It is a study of human condition for all ages. Once Again, Pacino has never been better.
These Sidney Lumet films gave me a whole new appreciation for the talent of Mr. Pacino, and also I can see now why Sidney Lumet is revered as one of the best directors of one of the golden decades of cinema the 70's.
