The 70's period when Pacino was in his prime time of making his classic films.
Serpico shows distinctively how corrupt the New York city cops are.
I'm not talking about the shitty cop movies showing vague blurs of corruptions happening without any proper explanations. Serpico is a real life drama devoting a good 2 hours to showing the insides of corruption filled police departments .Serpico is the life of an honest cop and shows how much one has to give up to stay on as an honest cop.
