Review of Serial Mom (1994) by Bob V — 29 Jan 2011
One of the less appreciated Waters films, and I can't see why. Kathleen Turner is great, Ricki Lake is back, Traci Lords is back, Patty Hearst is always good to see (providing she's not holding an automatic weapon) and is there a single victim in this film you wouldn't want to off yourself?
More understated than most Waters films, it still radiates that special brand of humour and subversiveness that I - and many others with me - adore.
And once again: Kathleen Turner is Grrrrrrreat.
Sigh, I wish I was a Dreamlander...
