Review of Serial Mom (1994) by Johnny T — 12 Jul 2014
A biting satire on the 90s media hype of serial killers, true crime stories, conservatism and of course the televised trials that transfixed the nation. From Dahmer to OJ, the 90s had it's share of tv entertainment.
John Waters does a great job with the morbid humor surrounding an everyday housewife who kills people that harm or insult her and her family. Kathleen Turner should have won an award as the Leave it to Beaver mom from hell.
