Review of Serial (Bad) Weddings (2014) by Stefan L — 25 Nov 2014
To hell with America's political correctness. You don't need to have a "French" sense of humor to see it as a hilarious satire which use stereotypes and "bad jokes" to show that everyone can be a racist without knowing and has stupid prejudice and fear against things they don't even know.
It did a great job in tackling some heavy issues in a lighthearted way, which seems to have become a specialty of French films lately. If anyone feels offended, it's probably because they are exactly the same kind of narrow-minded people the film depicts.
And frankly, everyone must have know n/met one or few people like this.
