Review of Serenity (2015) by John A — 27 Aug 2014
Director Joss Whedon, With The Help Of The Growing Fan Base Of His Cult Show "Firefly", Managed To Green Light This Sequel To His Cancelled TV Show. The First Time This Is Happened In Film & TV History.
The Average Viewer Will Be Happy That This Happened As It's A Simplistic Sci-Fi Action Which Is Fun And Enjoyable. The Best Thing About It Is That You Don't Have To See The Series To Understand It.
Joss Whedon Has Written An Excellent But Simplistic Tale Of Rebels Against The Government And Pulls His Basic Sub-Plot Of Excellently Starring The Cast Of The Series, Serenity See's A Government Hitman Search For River Tam.
River Is A Young Woman With Exceptional Abilities, That The Government Done Experiments On, But With The Help Of Her Brother Escaped. And Then With The Further Help Of Captain Reynolds, Both Have Avoided The Alliance (Government) For Quite Some Time.
Her Mental Psyche However Is Getting Worse And The Alliance Fear That She Will Let People Know About An Alliance Cover-Up That Involves Life Or Death. An Excellent Script Combined With Great Performances And Nicely Put Together Action Sequences Makes This An Enjoyable Film.
