Review of Like Father (2018) by John A — 13 Aug 2018
I'm a sucker for feel-good movies, and this one felt real good! Kristin & Kelsey played beautifully off of each other, and the other characters filled out the ensemble nicely. Sure, there were s few plot holes, but no caverns.
And to those who complain about it being a "commercial" for Royal Carribean, so what? A cruise is the ideal setting for this story. And it didn't seem at all gratuitous to me. If you want edgy, with dark twists, this movie won't work for you.
Me... I like redemption, and I'm willing to take a littel schmaltz on the side.
