Review of Séraphine (2008) by Ragnar L — 31 Oct 2009
The best way to describe this movie is through Seraphines character - extraordinally sincere and direct but in the same time profound and totally absorbing. The French naive artist Seraphines paintings were bright in color and non-natrutalistic like her nature.
Martin Provost has directed excellent freeflowing movie and Yolande Moreau is just sublime in the role of Seraphine. For me it was a like a breath of fresh air. Definetely recommend to see it.
