Review of Séraphine (2008) by Kitty C — 30 Jan 2010
I didn't expect it, judging by its somewhat yawn inducing thematics (on paper, at least), but Séraphine was actually a great cinematic experience. Quite simply a touching, heartwarming drama, and I liked it very much.
Surely, it's bordering on melodrama towards the end, but still, this movie is very good.
